So I'm getting a bit freaked out about the whole grad school admissions thing. I haven't heard from any schools yet, but it's still very early in the process. I'm just jealous that Becky has news already. I read on one Web site that someone received an acceptance from Carnegie-Mellon via e-mail yesterday, so I suppose I could hear from them at any point.

Anyway, here's a brief recap of the last couple days. Monday evening I decided to totally rearrange the furniture in my room. I guess I had decided the day before, but Monday the plan was carried out. After turning things upside-down for a while, everything finally fell into place, and the new setup is awesome--better use of space, better view of the TV from my papasan, no more worries about breaking my plastic window insulation...well I guess you have to see it to understand.

So yeah the furniture rearranging took up pretty much all of Monday, but I think one evening of work is justified by several months of contentment. Oh, I also figured out that I can connect my cable to the TV in my room and still get good channels without a digital cable box. Woohoo! Now I just hope that putting a splitter in so the other TV and my TV can both be connected at once doesn't screw that up. I'll find out tonight maybe.

So Tuesday I went to work. Did the usual stuff. Nothing too exciting there. Afterwards, I decided to do all my errands for the week (or most of them), so I went to Trader Joes and Target. Got the usual stuff at TJ's, plus a few new items that looked exciting. The Mango/Vanilla Soy Cream (non-dairy ice cream) is awesome. At Target, I finally bought some real tupperware, so I'll no longer have to use the "disposable" kind that I've been using and not disposing for several months now.

Sorry for a sorta boring post. I guess not everyone is as interested in my shopping expeditions, but I think being productive is exciting. Yeah I'm a big dork. I'll stop now.

Hoping for a big snowstorm so I can work from home tomorrow!
